Ironic that Vibe started 2009 with Chris and Rihanna on the cover, and now ends 2009 with Chris on the cover. This young man has been through a hurricane of a year, but stands tall at the close of the year. If he can me it through 2009, he can make it through anything.

I agree the brother has been through something this year, life is our best teachers he learned some valuable lesson,found out who his true friends were. He's young and he's strong he will continue to be one of if not the best r&b singer going to day, I'm glad he choose to continue on with his career if he had not, well we would have been lost without his music. Hang in there brother!

He has proven that he is a survival and I'm glad that he has a strong person in his life, his mom. Chris must hold his head high as his idol Michael Jackson did and show not prove to the haters that he is the prince of rhythm and blues and pop.

BET is very disappointing. I hate them for not playing his videos. I wished more poeple would write and complain. I sent them a nasty email.

MTV is doing him justice. However, we need to continue to bombard BET…it's a darn shame that ICTY hasn't premiered yet. DIL is #9 on the countdown, so he isn't completely blackballed.

This pic doesn't doesn't seem like Chris – something about it….But I guess its who he is now. The happy-go-lucky fresh is gone. I will miss it, but I guess he did a little growing up this past year. OR ELSE 'they're' trying hard to give him a more grown up cool dude look.

Keep up the good work Chris and stay focused, your talent is unmatched (no diss to other artists) but there is a naturalness to what you do that comes from someone being blessed with a gift and yours is to entertain. Love the cover and can't wait till it comes out so I can buy it. Also, watch what you say on twitter- LOL people are looking for a reason to hate so don't hand it to them. As tempting as it is to comment against something that you know is untrue or negative about yourself the best revenge is to keep smiling in your enemies face and say nothing, bugs the hell out of people because they wonder why they can't get to you.
