I can't fathom why chris would do that to rihanna for no reason. That makes no sense to me, there's much more to the story. I would like to know what the court/judge decides. And also what rihanna will do…as far as her relationship with chris goes. I don't support what he has done, but i support the council/help that he should receive in order to change and become a better person, especially in the area of self control. My general opinion on chris has not changed after seeing the picture. I already knew he assaulted her.

I think that if 2 people are going at it in a fight then the stronger person (chris) is going to win. which was clearly the case here. They shouldn't have been in the fight in the first place but what's done is done. People can say what they want about me but i still have my own opinions about the matter…and regardless of what people may think, my opinions are not because "i'm in love with chris" or "obsessed" with him. Things are just not adding up to me…and i strongly believe that Rihanna was not quiet and in control and then just like that chris whop her ass….that's just crazy.

I guess not.__I remember my brother used to work for Zomba and telling me how there was this new kid coming out named Chris Brown and the moment I saw a picture I fell in love. He was the one to constantly talk about respecting women and he was just so warm hearted. Everyone had high hopes for him. This whole situation is utterly ridiculous. Its unimaginable that Chris would ever do something like this. Yeah, they say those who grow up in family's that have physical [ more like abusive ] conductivity are more likely to follow in their footsteps. Has anybody stopped to think that this pic might be a fake?… Everybody else is talking except Chris and Rhianna. We don't know if he really put out that statement about being sorry. If he was beatting her like everybody is saying he has been, then why has'nt her "FRIENDS or FAMILY " done anything about it. She has money, why would she stay.? Even the LAPD is saying that "The photograph appeared on an entertainment website. The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation." Notice they haven't confirmed it is indeed the EXACT photo.

I find it hard to believe that you as a supporter of Chris, would allow your allegiance to be swayed by a photograph that's authenticity has not been proven. -Where's her make up? It was clearly there when she left the Clive Davis party. She looked stunning & flawless as usual. The eyebrows were the 1st thing I noticed because her's are always immaculate. These are completely unlike Rihanna's unless the eyebrow pencil was completely scrubbed off but why?

-Why does the upper lip look almost untouched with complete discoloration fm the bottom lip. But what appears to be that cold sore she had been sporting but no longer had as seen in the Clive Davis party photographs.

- The nose doesn't usually swell unless it's broken but that would be the only thing that explains the enormity of her nose which isn't normally shaped like that at all.

Clearly if the LAPD had this & other graphic photo's as evidence, they would have pressed battery charges in addition to the suspected threat charges that they did file, immediately & the D.A. would not have rejected this case back to them for additional information.

This whole thing has been one-sided and exaggerated since day one and it's unfortunate, but Chris is a human just like all of us, and humans make mistakes. I do wish Chris would've gone on record to make a statement himself instead of having a spokesperson type something up because it's making him look bad. Everybody is trying to play God and judge and give Robyn sympathy when NOBODY knows the facts. Everybody and their mama has been led to speak on the situation over the past two weeks and to be quite frank, I'm sick of all of it. That photo or information about the victim was never supposed to leak PERIOD and everything so far has been speculation and reports from "witnesses" and "family and friends". The LAPD need to get on their job and do a better job protecting evidence and making sure they investigate this case to get FACTS. I don't believe Chris is an abusive person by nature, but I do believe he was angry and he lost control, but I'm not gonna write him off and say his career is over. I watched my own mother get abused by my father when I was a little girl, but I didn't write him off and never speak to him again. WHY? Because he's my father. I forgave him, and my mother and sister forgave him, but it won't be forgotten. I just hope and pray that Chris finds peace and takes some steps to get himself together. This isn't about his career being over or any of that with me. I sincerely hope he's taking time out to figure things out and move forward to become a better person. We all mess up, we all have have to stumble and fall to become better people and I believe this was Chris' test. He's worked his behind off over the past 4 or 5 years so I refuse to take that away from him, but we cannot expect him to be perfect either. He does have a personal life, he laughs and cries just like we do so I'm not gonna make judgements and label him as a woman beater because of ONE incident. This picture is authentic, and yes Rihanna has a tattoo on her shoulder with roman numerals. The people that are still supporting him after this photo must not understand what it means to beat a woman to the extent that her face becomes unrecognisable. I think you want to live in denial and wish it wasn't Chris that did this, but it was and I am past the denial phase and well into the hate phase right now. There have been many fake pictures released, and the LAPD would never begin an internal investigation if the picture was not valid. Unfortunately the picture likely doesn't even show the full extent of the injuries because it can take 1-2 weeks for all of the bruising and swelling to appear, and that photo was taken the same night it happened.

I just looked very closely at the pictures of supposedly Rihanna's face bruised up, and a photo of her before… And it doesn't look exactly like Rihanna. If you look real closely at the shape of the faces, compare them you'll see a difference, The noses don't match either. And anybody could have that same tattoo on their shoulder too. Sorry, but a picture of a battered woman WON'T look exactly like a picture of the same person when healthy with makeup. Everything matches, just swelled and bruised. Her eye brows have the same form, she still has the top earring in her ear that she wore to the PGG that night, her lips and such are also the same just bruised/swelled, same hair line, etc. Rihanna's father also confirmed to US Weekly that it is her in the picture.

You all need to look at Chris Brown like he was your relative. If your relative did something like this, you would tell him he is wrong, but you would still love him and support him through counseling. Actually, not supporting him before ALL the facts are out really kind of sucks. Yes, the picture is not pleasant but it’s hardly as horrific as they said. (I’m not being unsympathetic, I deplore violence, but I’m a realist). His lawyers are not going to let him speak until March 5th. It’s time for his P.R. people to earn their pay. But with this avalanche of leaks and the blog mayhem, they can do but so much damage control until they know his charges. Brown’s main concern at this time is staying out of jail. He has to mount a defense and although some may not like that, it’s something he’s going to have to do. If she is cooperating with the police it’s a he said she said. Fact of the matter is, people are blowing it way out of proportion. Honestly, she doesn't look the bad. It doesn't help that she has absolutely NO make up on either. As a 21 year old woman who has been in a violent relationship, I think that what a lot of so called "fans" and celebrities are saying is bullshit. I liked Chris Brown, and never really cared for RiRi, but that is beside the point.

For her to look like that after that altercation, I can tell you from experience that it means he has done it before multiple times. After not being punished he continued, to do it and it escalated. I don't support him anymore, because I know this wasn't a one time thing, and now he has somehow had this major "revelation, " and will come out a better person. That is bullshit.

The DA most likely kicked the case back for more evidence pertaining to specific charges like attempted murder. Also, there is a different charge for battery with fists, and battery with a weapon (i.e. keys, shoes, ect.) The latter gets you more time, and usually leaves formed evidence besides contusions. I'm a nurse.

It isn't that a person that no longer supports him, was never a true fan; it's that a person who no longer supports him has higher morals. A man first and foremost should never put his hands on a woman unless to protect himself. And, tat protecting himself, doesn't end with a picture of the woman looking like that. That protect may end up with the woman having some contusion on her arms, from being restrained. That protection doesn't end, with a woman being strangled to the point of losing consciousness, and being left for dead. And when I say left for dead I don't mean, just at the scene. I mean days after being strangled you can die from the swelling in the throat occluding your airway.

So, even it she through the first punch, this type of behavior isn't justified in a real man. And yes she'll most likely go back, just as she most like has before, and just like I did. And she'll probably at some point either wind up within an inch of her life like I did, or she will be really unlucky, and be killed. So I don't care what she did or said. That shit just can't be justified , or tolerated.

An even if she refuses to press charges the DA can still pursue. He isn't just a danger to her, he is a danger to society, and no amount of talent can change that. Being an abuser is just like being an addict, you are NEVER cured, you need treatment, you deserve punishment, and you have to work very hard to stay sober.

And if the DA finds that it was a "fight", for the pussys who want to try an explain it away, by wanting people to believe, that a man and a woman are on a level playing field in a "fight", they the DA can press charges against them both, because they both could be considered a danger to society. Then she could get off with parole and community service, and his ass could sit behind some bars, worrying about somebody tearing his ass up in a "fight".

Let's all remember now, that the police report says Chris had no "visible injuries." He was wearing a long sleeve shirt and there was no mention of him removing said shirt. For all we know, he could have been scratched up and bruised under there. It also puzzles me as to why she had bite marks on her arms and fingers. Bite marks are usually a sin of self defense.

I personally the "car accident" was a cover up (well, obviously, lol, but…) because neither Rihanna or Chris want this to become public. Had it been the two of them, we'd be talking about how upset we are because they missed their Grammy performances, not this nonsense. And also, to the website, I remember this behavior before, two summers ago when that video came out of Chris doing the vertical lie down with that "pleasantly plump" young lady. I specifically remember the webmaster and a lot of commenter saying that they didn't know who this "new" Chris was; and didn't know if they could support him. Just speaking aloud here, lol.

I've also continued reading (not just this post) and keep seeing people mention March 5. Remember that that is only when we will find out what he is being charged with (and whether or not he'll plead "guilty, not guilty or no contest." We want know the details off the situation until the next court date. Unless he pleads guilty, which means the next date will be for his sentencing.

It's true that it hasn't technically been proven, but there is a lot of evidence against him. And if indeed it's true (which more and more, it's looking like it is), this isn't just some little mistake. Any violent crime merits serious consequences. To forgive him so easily is to belittle the seriousness of domestic violence (and any type of violence, really).
It's understandable that some of the committed fans are waiting for a verdict. It's true that much of the information we have is unconfirmed. But I have to say that I think it's unwise to jump to his defense so quickly with arguments that he's human and therefore should be forgiven. That seems reasonable to apply to someone who, for example, lost his/her temper and yelled at someone. But someone who lost his temper and BEAT someone? Not the same thing (and yes, again, we don't KNOW for sure if this is really what happened, but that defense implies a belief in his guilt).

Exactly the point I'm trying to make! We know Chris Brown and Rihanna. We don't know Christopher Maurice Brown and Robyn Rihanna Fenty. We only know the images that they're respective labels have force feed us.

What's most likely going to happen is: it's going to come down to he said she said. Her word against his word. And if you look at history (and read the blogs, lol) Rihanna still loves him very much and she won't testify. Even if she didn't love/care for him (which obvious she does, come on) she probably won't testify because it will mean more trouble for her, and I doubt she even wanted anyone to know about this.

In the new picture of Rihanna, her hair covers up her entire forehead and she has very large dark sunglasses on, so it is impossible to assess just how much she has or hasn't healed since that police picture. I really don't think it matters much, since the Chris turned himself in the same night anyway. The police reported that there were no injuries to Chris and that Rihanna's injuries worried them so much that they personally took her to the hospital.

It's extremely sad that people keep constantly making excuses for Chris. It doesn't matter WHAT Rihanna did. No one EVER deserves to get beat down that bad. I'm a huge CB fan and a huge RiRi fan but I honestly just can't understand how people can keep defending Chris' actions. It's one thing to say "I still support him and his music." That's perfectly fine. He will probably always be a great singer and music writer, but the fact that so many of you are saying "Rihanna deserved it." "Rihanna was the agressor." "Rihanna's injuries are fake." "Rihanna's lying." "Chris Brown was victimized!" etc, etc, etc, is just completely sad. His camp has a lot of work to do to fix his image and I honestly hope they can do it, but really now. Can we at least be logical here? From a SANE fellow CB fan: Rihanna is the one with the injuries. Rihanna was the one taken to the hospital with two contusions, a busted lip and a bruised face. Chris is the one that FLED THE SCENE FOR A WHOLE DAY. And to the people saying the picture is fake: Why would the LAPD be inciting an investigation over the -leaked- photo if the photo was fake? They're asking for leads on who leaked the photo. If it was fake, they would have ignored it just like with all the other fake photos.

I'm on the fence also. It's getting hard to defend him with all the evidence against him. I agree that he needed to issue a more sincere apology. I know he can't come out and say "I'm sorry for beating Rihanna" right now, but he could have been more sincere. I think he needs to plead guilty and own up to whatever punishment he's given. When the case first began, I refused to believe it…but with this photo, my mind has almost done a complete 180. I just don't understand how he could have let it go that far. He should have walked away plain and simple. I do NOT condone what he did at all. I've never grown up around abuse, so it will never be OK for me. He won't be going to jail, even if he did, it would only be a day at the most. Six months is equivalent to about a week in celebrity years. Rihanna will not testify against Chris, that much is certain, I think. Not only does history show that the woman doesn't testify (even the male, in some cases) but it would only mean more trouble for her. And it's obvious that she (nor her people, Chris or his people) didn't want people to know about this because of the car crash cover up.

Its been 2 weeks since this story. Day I wonder what will happen Chris’ career. Everyone ran with the story that he hit but he had to have a reason. After reading many of posts and talking to real people offline lol. I am pulling from my own life experiences. There are some many reasons that Rihanna could have gotten hard. any time people argue and someone has bruise many times the police question abuse. once the police is called the report is filed and you have to appear in court. If you don’t a warrant is issued for your arrest. I can go on I have a lot of real life experiences.

I personally think it's asking way too much at this point in time to ask CB fans whether they support him or not. We do not know any details of the situation, so we cannot say if we support him right now at all. From what we have seen, it looks pretty bad, really bad in fact. We are not stupid and I wish that he and his 'people' make that fact known. They have started a iSupport Chris thing on his fan club page, but that is asking too much.

We cannot say we support him, nor can we make excuses for him – simply because we do not know what happened and also we may never know what happened. I believe it is in our rights to know what happened because we should be able to chose what products we want to invest our money in.
