Chris Brown’s @mechanicaldummy account seems to be reactivated again on Twitter but the question is, is it really Chris? Fans on Twitter first noticed that something was about to happen with his account when his tweets began reappearing in their retweets and favorites list, but how do we know that it’s really Chris? Our advice is to follow the account until the account is verified and if it’s not verified soon, unfollow.

So far, the owner of the account has tweeted the following.

- It might telling you that ur following me & when you click my page ur not because I reactivated my page…so Re Click the FOLLOW button

Recently, MTV News sat down with Brown to ask him about the songs and albums that helped him along the way. Because, as he told us, ultimately, it’s all about the music. These are his picks for the album and artist of 2009.

Artist of the Year

“Juelz Santana. … He played me some of his [upcoming] album, and it’s dope. He’s just gotta keep doing him. It took [Lil] Wayne a long time to break mainstream. The last couple years have been his big break. So I think it’s gonna take a while for Juelz to do it, but he got it. Juelz got it. He’s always making great music, so I think he doesn’t have too far to go.”

Album of the Year

“This year? Man, that’s hard. You know what I listened to a lot? Ryan Leslie’s [Transition] album. He’s a dope artist. He did [my song] ‘Famous Girl’ — he produced it — but he’s just a dope artist. I think creatively he’s so unique that I don’t think people get it yet. He’s just so dope. His album’s incredible. I listen to it all the time.”

Chris Brown and Usher were spotted sitting courtside together last night (Dec 29) in Atlanta at the Hawks vs. Cavaliers basketball game at the Philips Arena. Other celebrities in the building include Akon, Young Jeezy, Polow Da Don and Chris Tucker.

With barely any promo for his album, no TV performances, his CD being blackballed by major outlets etc, I would say CB weathered the storm and came out proving all the naysayers wrong with stats like this.

Don’t freak out Breezy fans. This was probably for the better. The media can be real cruel, and they was all that and more about what Chris tweeted. They twisted his words around and picked at every little thing he said. He was constantly tweeted with tweets by haters, and I’m sure it was overwhelming to him. I’m sure he’s going to be Okay though. Who knows, his label could make a twitter in the future for him under something like @ChrisBrown. But anyway, don’t be sad or depressed about this situation. Don’t delete your twitter account because HE did. Continue to show your love and support for Chris through your twitter account. If Chris is happy with his decision on deleting his twitter, then you should too.

It’s come to our attention and Chris’s that retail stores across the Globe are refusing to sell Graffiti to fans, despite having the album in stock. The reason? Take a wild guess. It’s apparent that despite apologising God knows how many times about what happened between him and Rihanna in February, shops are hesitant to sell his CD’s to fans. Fans have already expressed their anger at the shops via Twitter and we encourage you to do the same. Here’s a few examples.

@Parislovinlon20 @MechanicalDummy so i asked the manager did they ur album have it n she said no. then an eployee was watchin n snuck me 1 from the back.

@Celebrityboost @MechanicalDummy this gyrl said the store that she went 2 kept ur CD’s @ the back, & a employee who is ur fan had 2 sneak + give it 2 her.

You can raise awareness about the shop’s obvious “black balling” of Graffiti by putting #GraffitionRacks on all of your tweets. It’s already a trending topic. Or, you can sign this Twitter petition or make a petition and post it in the comments of this post and then retweet this post to encourage fans to sign it. Shops seem to think that they have the power to ruin someone’s career regarding an incident in which none of them were involved.
