– Chris Brown

XXL Magazine:
Silence is no longer golden. The extremely successful and often controversial Chris Brown graces one cover of the December/January issue of XXL for his first major interview in almost two years.
Breezy has made his share of non-music related headlines, but he also keeps winning from his work in the booth—hit after hit, hook after hook, he’s hip-hop’s most reliable R&B ally. In the story, written by Chris himself, the multi-platinum selling artist reflects on his growth as an artist, moving past hardships in his life, recent altercations, his love life and plenty more.
Some quotes from Chris Brown:
“In the beginning, I used to be hot. I’m normal. I’m human, so if anybody says something that’s a lie, I’m numb to it. I’ve smartened up.”
“A lot of people wanna know about the whole situation with me, Drake and Meek Mill. At the end of the day, I’m me, they’re them. They rap, I sing. Totally different caliber. I rap, I play around on mixtapes. But our words don’t collide as much as you’d think.”

Rihanna’s upcoming album, Unapologetic, has a collaboration with Chris Brown on a track called “Nobodies Business”. That’s right. In an interview for Bravo magazine on Facebook Live she discussed the collaboration:
‘Nobody’s Business’ is basically the way I look at everything regarding my personal life. Even though you have to witness it, it’s being documented at every second, it still is mine. This is mine at this point. When it gets to my music and stuff like that, I’ll give and I’ll give and I’ll give, and I just feel like I need to keep a little bit for me that I get to the side.”

Prestige Magazine:
Virginia-born R&B star CHRIS BROWN sits down with JOE YOGERST for an exclusive interview to talk about his upcoming tour, doing some good and crying on set.
Even after eight years in the spotlight, it’s difficult to say with any certainty what makes Chris Brown tick. He’s granted few long-form interviews and his press coverage tends to be ruled by tabloid headlines rather than probing questions about what really goes on in the head of this 23-year-old musical superstar. Brown plays his cards so close to his chest that we can’t tell if the ambiguity is intentional – part of a carefully crafted public persona – or his bona fide self.

Chris Brown has stated that he understands why he has a bad reputation.
During an interview for MTV show This Is How I Made It, Breezy addressed his 2009 assault on Rihanna – admitting he can see why the public still dislike him for his actions, despite making up with the Bajan babe.
Brown explained:
“I can’t hate people for making judgment on me, or making a decision of liking me or not liking me.
“All I can do is try to better as a person. And I’m good with knowing everything isn’t always going to be perfect.”
The 23-year old went on to state that he feels pleased to have started to change to public’s perception of him in the last year.
