Chris Brown - Fortune Fan Artwork

2012 is here, and that means it is time for Chris Brown’s new album Fortune! Chris’ first single “Strip” needs your support, so make sure you request the song on radio and purchase your copies, and gift a friend on iTunes!

For those of you who didn’t find “Strip” to your liking can expect the second single “One of Those Nights” featuring Will.I.Am to debut on January 31st, according to Flow 93-5:

We can all expect things to be a bit different this era, consider that Chris will not be doing interviews. Chris and his management have decided that it’s best that he let his talent do all the talking this time around, and as odd as it may seem to some – I agree and have been a vocal advocate of this approach for years. Tina Davis, his manager had this to say: “We’re not trying to be rude, selfish or disrespectful to anyone in any way. If people are going to judge anything, judge him for his talent. He signed up to sing and entertain. Not to talk about his personal life.”

Chris Brown Another Round
Fat Joe sat down with MTV to talk about the “Another Round” video and had some extremely nice things to say about Chris Brown. Okay, maybe not like that – but he had no problem comparing Chris Brown to Beyonce.

Joe said that Chris Brown is to women (and gay men) what Beyonce is to (straight) men. LOL. I can’t say I disagree.

If you have a tumblr, you’ll know that pretty much everyone online thinks Chris Brown has some sort of appeal. LOL. I am going to finish typing now, because this post could be considered suspect. I’m gonna let you watch the videos now:

Chris Brown plans on making a triumphant return to the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 11, 2012 RadarOnline is exclusively reporting.

Brown is nominated for three Grammys, Best R & B Album, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song.

It was only three years ago that Brown was arrested and charged with felony battery on his then girlfriend, Rihanna, on the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards.

“Chris has grown tremendously as a person, and an artist from that time in his life,” a source close to Brown tells RadarOnline.com.

“Chris has complied with all terms of his probation and has completed most of his court ordered community service. He has been a model probationer, but more importantly, Chris accepted responsibility for what he did. Chris took that experience and vowed to learn from it and become a better person, and he was thrilled and truly humbled that he was nominated for three Grammys.

“Chris absolutely plans on attending the Grammys and is in talks with producers of the show to possibly perform. Chris performed at the MTV Video Music Awards several months ago, and his performance was simply over the top as he was flying through the air like an acrobat. Chris’ performance stole the show, and he would love to do something at the Grammy’s to top his VMA performance,” the insider says.

“Rihanna is also nominated for several Grammys, and she performed at the Grammy nomination concert recently, and she could be going to the awards ceremony as well,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.

Rihanna thinks that Chris should attend the Grammys if he wants to, she has absolutely no qualms with him being there. Don’t expect them to hang out, but she has moved on from that horrible night, and doesn’t want it to define either one of them as people.”

I’ve got nothing against both of them attending the same award shows!

MTV
The Diplo and Afrojack-produced “Look at Me Now” peaked at #1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs Chart and was voted #9 on MTV’s Best Songs of 2011 list. The Colin Tilley-directed video remained among the year’s best, receiving multiple nominations at the 2011 VMAs. Not a bad track to build a blueprint off of.

“Look At Me Now” – Chris Brown Feat. Busta Rhymes and Lil Wayne

The fact that an R&B singer had one of the year’s most outstanding rap records—over a head-nodding Diplo track—is a feat in itself. Add Busta and Lil Wayne’s rapid-fire raps and you’ve got an anthem that’s ruled for nearly 365 days strong.

50 Cent and Chris Brown are about to set fire to your speakers. The superstars have recorded their first collaboration.

The record, entitled “Lighters,” was produced by Los Angeles DJ Felli Fel. “I just did 50 Cent’s new record with Chris Brown,” the Power 106 DJ revealed to Rap-Up.com. “It was supposed to be my record. I produced it, me and Chris wrote it. He sings the hook and did a verse as well.”

The song is scheduled to appear on the G-Unit mogul’s next album. “I meticulously put these two together because I realized they never did a record together and I found that odd,” explained Felli. “50 loved the record and the next day I get a call from [50’s manager] Chris Lighty saying, ’50 wants the record.’ I was kinda torn because it was one of those bittersweet things. I knew what we had with this record.”

Felli, who produced the 2007 club banger “Get Buck in Here,” has big hopes for “Lighters.” “It’s probably going to be the biggest record I’ve ever done.”

50 praised Chris after introducing the singer at the American Music Awards. “Chris brown aint no joke. I told yal the main event. I all ready left the show that’s all I wanted to see,” he tweeted.

T. Error Mari

As I was CBtrolling on Twitter for updates this morning, I came across this gem of a quote from an interview TierraT. Error Mari did with TheYBF:

On the celeb men she swoons over
“Well, I like older men! So I will say, Maxwell, Eric Benet, Tyson, and Snoop Dogg. But I have to admit, I love me some Chris Brown!

Hmm. I find this bit of information a bit interesting, because if I remember correctly, Chris wanted to “collaborate” with her when they first came out in 2005. Wonder if it’ll happen now. I don’t know if Chris will be too fond of her aged water balloon breasts that she showcased not too long ago. Who knows? That could be his thing. Car Registration*Karrueche Tran better watch out.
