Now that the world is finally catching on to what we in Team Breezy have known for years a.k.a. Chris Browns’ talent, it seems that Chris’ recent success on the charts and with critics is now making headline news and has even attracted the attention of the VP of Jive Label Group. Speaking on Chris’ recent set backs, his 9 week run at the top of the R&B/Hip-Hop chart with Deuces, his 3 GRAMMY nominations and his Top 15 hit Yeah 3X, Tom Carrabba had this to say;
“We feel good now that everybody’s talking about his music, which is exactly what Chris’ intention is… I think when he was a little bit younger he was still trying to find his way a little bit and fine-tune his craft, but I think over the last two years he’s absolutely developed a confidence and is very secure in his decision-making process.”
On Chris’ GRAMMY nominations for Graffiti;
They are “another step in the right direction for Chris Brown…. We always thought one day when Chris is where he belongs, people will go back to that record and say, ‘You know what, this is a record that was overlooked,’” Carrabba said. “We’ll see in time, but right now that’s behind us and we’re kind of looking forward.”
