It was exactly five years ago today that a young 16 year-old Chris Brown made his mark on the music scene with the release of his debut single “Run It” and Team Breezy will know fine well what those five years have been like since then. Sharing with Chris, we’ve had our ups (6 million album sales, 3 albums (2 certified multi-platinum), 5 Grammy nominations, roles in 2 movies with 2 more on the way, 2 US No.1 singles, 8 platinum/multi-platinum singles and 31 music videos (including appearances). And of course we’ve had our downs…. “the incident”, the media constantly attacking Chris through their publications, shops refusing to sell “Graffiti”, the disappointing sales of “Graffiti” because of this, the UK refusing Chris entry into the country, the cancellation/re-scheduling of the International Fan Appreciation Tour and so on. But the year is 2010, and we (along with Chris) have survived all of the above and have come out stronger for it.
