With his new album “Graffiti” hitting stores this week, Chris Brown has been making his rounds for interviews and made a stop at MTV Studios on Tuesday evening (December 8).

The “Kiss Kiss” singer looked suave in boots, jeans, leather jacket, scarf and beanie hat as he made his inside to for his sit down with MTV news reporter, Sway.

During the interview, Brown opened up about the feedback he’s gotten from the public since the domestic abuse incident with Rihanna, and said, “My fans [have] given me a great response on the album.”

Brown continues to tell, “Like 99 percent of the comments are all positive about the album.”

On the other hand, Rolling Stone magazine recently gave the album 2.5 out of 5 stars. Of that, Chris tells MTV News, “I just felt like there was a little bit of hate because of the situation and not because of the music. But we’re gonna keep it moving.”

    Just purchased "my" DELUXE copy of Graffiti and "It sounds Great!" I love to hear someone who can and is really singing. I like rap but not "only" rap. I first listened on my PC to the snippets and I tell ya, you will feel and hear a "whole" big difference once Graffiti is inside your car! I just started jammin and since I've got the deluxe "I can take my time" jammin to each CD. I'm so excited for Chris….and yeah baby I'm looking forward to giving these out with the Christmas presents!

    Not sure how that is possible. I went to Best Buy in my area and the album was sold out until tomorrow. Also tried to purchase the deluxe version on amazon and it was on back order until after christmas. Strange.

    Based on what I've read, he'll sell more than that because they're basing numbers off of just physical CDs and Jive shipped retailers the CDs at a lower rate than usual, due to low expectations of his sales. So, combine the restocking of retailers' supply of the CD with pre-sales and digital sales and Chris should do OK.

    and its crap!!!
    and so are all the other reviews…
    they prolly not even really listening to the album…
    if graffiti would have came out before the incident..the review would have been a million times better!

    First, I don't think much of these white male music critics reviewing urban music by black artists . They don't quite get it. And, being your typical don't-show your-feelings males, they can't handle Chris in his sad songs. "Too much self-pity" – ? How is someone supposed to feel when half the population thinks he's a jerk? I almost cried when I heard Lucky Me. Our boy is hurting, he has every right to, and he's not afraid to show his feelings (like most men are). And some critic said the albun was "confused" – hell yeah, that's where he's at. right now. It makes for a great mix of songs. I did get a little tired of the I Miss You songs – tho his singing was delicious.

PLEASE don't feel too discouraged – there are so many of us out here that really love you – your singing and your dancing and your sweet, honest, humble, funny, sexy, wonderful self, You know why things aren't flowing out there for you like before – like you say, screw them – but try not to let it get to you so much.       yea our boy was a bit upset on the twitter today. And i just read a post from some media and the guy already posting this the twitter comments. wow they sure take no time to air the negatives, the sad part is all of them follow cb twitter so they can post any negative twits he makes.
