Chris Brown is to give a “tell all” interview on ABC, the network which has just cancelled an appearance by Adam Lambert.

The RnB singer will do a pre-recorded interview with presenter Robin Roberts, then perform songs from his new album, the New York Post reports.

A source said: “Chris Brown’s interview was booked way before Adam Lambert took to the stage. It is to give him a chance to respond to Rihanna’s interview. The possibility of him performing a song will be worked out next week.”

IMO your actions can tell someone the kind of person you are and as far as i know, he's becoming a better person and one can tell because of his actions.

    As Chris said in all his previous interviews we will never know the truth about that situation because we are just going to have Rihanna version, his version and the TRUTH. So i agree with him when he said that the TRUTH will stay between them forever and that he respects their right to keep it private therefore there is no need to talk about that anymore. I mean it seems like they are both moving on with their live (even if i think that Chris is doing better than Rihanna and i love it) and lets just support both or each of them and enjoy what Chris doing as the king MJ: MUSIC, ENTERTAINMENT.

    What the hell is wrong with Chris letting people know the TRUTH??? I mean yeah Chris has taken the "high road" or whatever, but there are people out there that are dumb enough to think that Chris attacked her for no damn reason. That makes him look even WORST with people thinking that way about him! It depends on how Chris lets us know what she REALLY did, in a way that it wont backfire. Something like: "she did this and that to me, but i'm NOT excusing what i did to her, because no man should EVER put there hands on a female, and vice-versa". If Chris wants to finally say what she did in the car then i think that's the right move. And plus, don't you know if he tells what she did to him, it will let EVERYBODY know that she LIED in her 20/20 interview when she said she DIDN'T hit him, when she really did. But anyway, this is the RIGHT move for Chris. He's also performing that day of the interview, so that's a great transition to get our mind off of that interview and enjoy the music!

      It's not about her being protected.
      -If he were to say these things, white media would just say that A) he's lying B) he's making excuses C) he's just saying it to promote his album or D) all of the above.
      -The difference between her story and his story is that her story is back up by a picture of her bruises and unsigned, exaggerated search warrant that's been perceived as the truth. So, even if he were to tell his story, people would be hesitant to believe because he doesn't evidential support.
      -The girl's a puppet. There's a review of her album in the Rolling Stone magazine, where the writer connects almost every song on her album to CB and the incident. Dude talks more about CB than the actual album. And that's what the media wants: power. Power to mold her, her image and her words.
      -Money talks. You've seen how much Def Jam puts into promoting her. A writer of the LA Times blog gave her AMA performance an A- while giving Janet and Shakira's performances a D or something like that. Best believe her label is paying these people to continue to kiss her ass.

      The only way the tides will turn is if a picture of Chris' bruises (mugshot?) or an official document of his account on what happened is released. I can bet that TMZ has everything involved with this case in the palm of their hands; they're just holding out, waiting for the right time, I guess.

      I understand your frustration, Sharrod, but someone once told me: "God may not come when you call, but he is always on time." Patience is the best virtue.

      What the hell happened to my comment? Had a whole essay and everything! Anyway, to make a long story short. It's not about protecting her, it's about being the bigger and better person, and taking the high road. Chris has stressed that what happened between them should remain private, so he's not going to talk about it anymore. He even said this in the Big Boi interview. My guess is that he's gonna talk about learning from his mistakes, his DV classes, community service, his work with Best Buddies and the Jenesse Center, the tour and the growth in his music.
      He cannot grow and move past the actual incident if he continues to talk about it.

    Breezy can 'end' the "he said/she said," should he decide to 'tell-all', quick, fast and in a hurry by bringing his lawyer on that show AND bringing a NOTARIZED copy of HER statement with them — for ALL TO SEE!

    You see, as a defendant, as a part of the "discovery process" he's entitled to see ALL the evidence against him. This includes HER statement, hospital records, witness statements, pretty much EVERYTHING the DA has, he has a right to, as it's HIS RIGHT(S) under the constitution!

    It's ONLY if he's willing to take her statement and put it "out there" blogs, web sites — and all, that it'll be totally valid, other than that, it'll be seen as 'sour grapes' and 'half-truths'. If he's to be 100%, he HAS to put out her statement!

    I want to make one VERY important point! Jay Z knows EVERYTHING that they've done upon till this date: Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26th 2009; E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G!!!
    Wasn't it Jay Z who, just recently, had Charlamaignthagod fired cause he did an interview with Beenie Segal? Sure it is! Wasn't it Jay Z, who, went on BBC radio and swore, up and down, that he had NOTHING to do with Breezy NOT performing at that BET MJ Award/Tribute? Yes, it was!

    I'm sure there were 'others', but it'll ONLY take one, and proof of one, to have his probation remanded, no? THAT IS MY GREATEST FEAR!!!! And yes, I think Rhianna is THAT desperate: if the numbers are right, and 'Rated R' is predicted to 'flop,' as it seems like it is, she'll be that much more desperate, bitter and vengeful!

    So Sharrod, you see, he's in a VERY difficult spot, for me, it really doesn't matter if he "tells all, or not!" TMZ already told us what REALLY happened in that car on Feb 8th. His fans see and know the truth too, no need to "tell all"; "all" has already been told and from her biggest supporter too, that'll be TMZ!

    Though I was very angry after watching that 20/20 interview, I calmed down and rethought the situation, it only made me buy Breezy's music that much MORE times!

I wrote in my post (before it magically disappeared…???) that a writer of the LA Times blog reviewed the AMA's and they gave her performance an A- while giving Janet's performance a B- and Lady GaGa's performance a C+.     Okay. I'm just gonna say this, I hope that Chris is doing the interview because HE TRULY WANTS TO DO THE INTERVIEW, not because he wants to respond to Rihanna. I hope that he really goes into detail, NO MATTER HOW PAINFUL it may be for him, because in the end, the truth will set him free. I hope that he will be honest with himself, about himself, becuase that will help him as well. If Rihanna didn't reveal something in her interview then whatever.     Well, no matter what, he'll always be linked to Rihanna until he dates or gets married. It'll always be "Rihanna, who was assulted by former boyfriend Chris Brown six years ago… blah blah blah…" until the truth finally comes out. And you know what? Chris doesn't have to say a thing for the truth to come out, God has a way of making your enemies your footstool, so he's doing right by leaving it in Gods hands and not talking about it again. He's just going on GMA to preform, not to talk about Rihanna. It's about his music and the show was already pre-recorded according to Chris. I think that was why he was in NYC a few weeks ago.     Let me put it into context: if you already didn't know, TMZ has been Breezy's biggest hater and Rhianna's biggest supporter during this entire 'Feb 8th' incident! For them to, come out, and say stuff that is/was "critical of Rhianna" is ENLIGHTENING, to say the very least! Unless he does like XYZ said and brings a notarized picture and statement of that night and his lawyer there is nothing to accomplish from talking about the incident. There's also nothing that can be said to make me stop supporting him and his music. He taking responsibility for his action which shows his manning up. Meanwhile every other interview Rhi contradicts herself in some way or another and other people see this too.     Instead of leaving a super long comment stating the obvious of how Rihanna isn't telling the complete truth and that she provoked him even when he was driving and there might have been some violence on her part because a nice young man like chris against domestic violence just doesn't hit you over a silly little arguement where you got jealous. I could spend all day talking about that but why bother because the only people that don't know the truth is the haters and thats only because they are to busy up Rihanna's ass. For all we know that photo of her could have been edited. I know there is thing called makeup but 3 weeks later when she was seen with chris brown I saw no marks on her face and marks like the one she supposedly had just don't go away like that in less then a month. So haters instead of talking trash why don't you take time to look at the facts there are so many that include Rihanna being a provoker that add up rather then just seeing a picture and hearing a fishy story. I like to complete puzzles not start it and think about it then flip it over and get mad.

You wasn't there with Chris Brown and Rihanna when the incident happened, so how do you know that Rihanna isn't tellin the truth, and how do you know that she provoked him??     I agree with XY and Z, when you have team Jay Z pondering each and every move it is not checkers it's chest. Back in February, just a nite before the incident, there was news buzzing that either one was not going to show and then the trouble happened and everyone forgot that someone was putting a hint of something (or plan) about to occur. So patience is a virtue (gift) and I hope Chris will follow XYZ advise or continue to take the higher road on this. My father used to say "If you stirr in "ish" it will stink" and I believe that lots of haters want more drama.

      You know, like who leaves their cell phone out long enough, for someone to read a 'three page long text message'? But whatever the 'intents' on Feb 7th, 'Feb 8th' is real and here with us now: Chris is NOW a felon.

    ANYWAY, my prediction is that the interview will be focused on life after the incident. I think they will show him going to his weekly DV classes, community labor, work with Best Buddies, etc. I keep haters saying that he isn't remorseful and that he's not paying for what he's done and showing those things will be the way to refute their claims. Notice that the media didn't even focus on his last court date and how Judge Schnegg said that she was proud of the progress he was making. Notice that none of the blogs showed the pics of him donating turkeys at his church (except TheYBF) but they jumped right on that Jay-Z/cornball thing, even though Chris said that he wasn't talking about Jay-Z. In order for him to be seen in a better light, he has to do it himself 'cause the media isn't gonna do it.

    Well if Chris does talk about the night in question and what he says makes sense and pieces together then I will probably believe it more then Rihanna. Sure we might never know the truth we only know what the media is saying but I know fans of Chris and even people that aren't fans have a hard time believing that little text message story. I know for a fact I'm not the only one having a hard time believing it cuz how does someone against domestic violence hit you like that because you "apperently caught him in a lie". Now maybe that is true but somewhere in there I know something on her part actually had to be done. Its also funny how no pictures of him are seen after the attack for all we know he could have been all busted up too. I still have a hard time believing that he would beat Rihanna but he did and none of us were there so how do we ever know the truth. All we can do is listen to his wonderful music.

      It's crazy, but it happens unfortunately. My father use to beat my mother for the stupidest reasons, whether if he thought she was lying bout somethin, if she left the house, if she talked on the phone w/ even just a family member of hers, My father beat the ish out of my mother many times for stupid reasons, and sometimes for no reason at all (which there is no reason at all for a man to put his hands on a woman anyways). But, people fight other people for no real reason sometimes. I'm not sayin thats what Chris did, But I'm just sayin, men will hit their women for no good reasons sometimes, and vice versa, smh.

    And I'll say THIS much, as I said MONTH'S AGO: if Rhianna doesn't sell, and I mean, put up mind-blowing numbers, then she's finished! If you can't sell, recession or not, with all of the "sainthood" 'Feb 8th' gave you, when will you EVER sell?
    But as that scenario, as it seems now, is slowly realized, you can bet she and her camp will become desperate!
