NEW YORK — ABC says Chris Brown will appear on its “20/20″ newsmagazine Dec. 11.
In what’s billed as an in-depth interview, the singer will discuss his assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna in February.
Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” conducts the interview. It was taped last weekend.
ABC spokesman Jeffrey Schneider says clips may also air on “Good Morning America.” He says Brown will not perform live.
Brown is scheduled to release his album “Graffiti” on Dec. 8. He has previously spoken about the attack on MTV News and “Larry King Live.”

First of all, I want to say that I think moving his interview to 20/20 is a good move because it will reach way more people in that prime time time-slot. Second, I’ve seen some Breezy fans already assuming the worst on this one-on-one in-depth 20/20 interview, when they haven’t even seen the interview yet! Snippets of the interview aren’t even out yet, so you DON’T know how the interview is going to go. Save your (negative) judgments about Chris’ 20/20 interview until you’ve seen it, or atleast some snippets of it.

Unless he finds a way of saying/showing that she beat herself up it wont change the fact that he's the one who broke the law so no matter the interview he's going to come off looking like the bad guy because even the hardest stan can't say Chris Brown didn't lay a hand on Rihanna

If Chris wouldn't spill the beans to Larry King, Angie Martinez, Rocsi, Wendy Williams or Big Boi, what makes you all think he will spill it to Robin Roberts? Chris knows that doing so will only make him look bad, which is why he has continued to keep his mouth shut even after her 20/20 interview.
I saw the video with the girls fighting over his shirt in Detriot lol. By the end of it the shirt wasn't even worth nothing because it was all cut up so each of them could have some. I don't know what those girls were thinking but if I was one of them I would have fought someone for that shirt. I would have been walking away with his shirt no matter what. Even if I had to yell "Look ya'll Timmy got a gun" I would have got me that shirt lol.

I hope he does open up though it might not change anything but if what I think is true (that Rihanna started the attack and hit him first or was really provoking him) then atleast the whole world will really know what happened and thats something the haterz can think about while they are busy hating.

That said, I hope there is something NEW in this yet-another interview – and I hope its not a 'spilling beans' thing. Only fans (like me) are dying for that, since we assume we know the low-down, and we want others to hear. But skeptics will see it as no excuse for what he did. I will love Breezy til the day i die, but he was wrong to hit her, and he knows it.
What I hope he does that's new is to focus on the counseling that people (like him AND her) should get for anger management. Whatever – I just hope he can get comfortable with Robyn, and be his darlin' self. And hopefully talk about the music
