Chris Brown and Soulja Boy had portraits taken at the Record Plant in Los Angeles.
The hip-hop hitmaker, who produced Brown’s hit “Run It!,” had to fight to get back in the studio with the R&B star after falling from grace following a drug scandal last year.
Storch signed up for a stint in rehab earlier this year after blowing $30 million on cocaine.
Storch filed for bankruptcy one month later and has been struggling to rebuild his Tuff Jew Productions company ever since.
He got a break over the summer when he landed work with Brown, but his manager Derek Jackson admits he had to convince the singer’s team to give Storch a second chance.
Jackson tells Details magazine, “I had to beg Chris’ manager, but the [bleep] is strong.”
Storch acknowledges he’s facing an uphill struggle to re-establish himself as a credible producer, but is confident he will soon regain his status as one of the go-to hitmakers in the music industry.
He says, “I’ve got to prove myself to the people who write checks. (But) people will see that everything is intact.”
