The NYPost is claiming that Chris Brown and Rihanna checked into the same hotel this past Friday and possibly reunited. You know me, I don’t believe anything until I see proof. So, I’m going to dismiss this as a rumor unless I get some physical evidence. LOL! Anywhere, here’s the NYPost article:

Could they be making sweet music again?

Just days after Chris Brown publicly apologized for his February beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna, the two spent the weekend at the same luxury Midtown hotel under a cloak of secrecy, The Post has learned.

The pretty “Umbrella” singer and “Run It” crooner — who is barred from seeing his former squeeze by a restraining order issued in Los Angeles — checked into separate rooms at the Trump International Hotel & Tower on Friday, hotel sources said.

They spent the next two days coming and going in separate chauffeured vehicles from the underground garage of the 52-story Columbus Circle building.

The two appear to have taken great measures to avoid public exposure, including the use of decoy vehicles to throw off reporters and photographers. As of last night, the secretive performers hadn’t been seen together.

Neither Brown nor Rihanna had any public appearances or events to otherwise bring them to Manhattan, although London’s Daily Mail reported that Rihanna is shopping for a Big Apple pad.

Last night, The Post spotted Brown, 20, leaving the hotel for Harlem, where he ducked into a building at 135th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.

A childhood friend whom Brown regularly visits lives there, said a barber who works in the building.

Rihanna’s car sped away around 10 p.m. last night, sources at the hotel said.

About an hour later, Brown returned from Harlem and checked out of the luxury digs. A member of his entourage told The Post it was because “she [Rihanna] checked in.”

At about 7 p.m. Friday night, Brown was seen leaving the hotel to go to the movies with friends, witnesses said.

Two hours later, Rihanna, 21, and at least seven friends left for the tony Philippe restaurant on East 60th Street, sources at the eatery said.

The former lovers haven’t been spotted together since their Feb. 8 blowup in LA that left Rihanna bleeding and badly bruised.

Brown pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault and will be sentenced Aug. 5. Judge Patricia Schnegg is expected to sign off on a plea bargain that will keep him out of jail. The deal calls for Brown to perform 1,400 hours of community service and undergo domestic-violence counseling.

Schnegg ordered Brown to keep 50 yards away from Rihanna — or 10 yards if they’re at the same music-industry event — despite Rihanna’s plea that she didn’t need protection.

If Brown is found to have violated the order — even with Rihanna’s consent — he risks blowing his plea bargain and being charged with a misdemeanor.

Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, said he was unaware of his client’s whereabouts yesterday and added: “I don’t want to be quoted on something hypothetical.”

Prosecutors, Rihanna’s lawyer and publicists, and Brown’s publicists did not return messages seeking their comments.

    I just feel for Chris. . .his every move being watched like a bug under a microscope. People live by patterns, they pretty much go thru the same motions if it makes them happy.. . so I could imagine going to the same places that you used to go.       It's sad but all of this is lessons learned for Chris. A lot of times in life, what's good to us, isn't always good for us. He has to learn NOT too follow patterns of destruction no matter how good they feel to him.     I called this yesterday. The Post doesn't have that many details IMO. All the say is they were both at the hotel and then he checked out cause she checked in. IF they were creeping around they def. wouldnt do it for the Post or world to see. I said from day one they would end up as friends if nothing else. If they want to be together the judge will more than likely kick the stay away order in a few weeks they can have at it then.

      Chris pleaded guilty to FELONY ASSAULT, WITH THE INTENT TOO CAUSE GREAT BODILY HARM. Of course that's very serious & normally carries up to a 4yr prison sentence. The judge is actually protecting both of them with this order of protection & made the consequences of violating it clear.

      NO "FRIENDSHIP" is worth Chris possibly losing his freedom & her walking away, again, with hers! :|

      I think that's exactly why the Post wrote this. Chris finally got something good going for him for once, since people are forgiving him for his apology and the wedding video promoting his song. They wanted to counteract that, but it's not working. Also, I think whoever runs the Post is racist (y'all remember that political cartoon they posted of Obama as a monkey being shot?); they posted this on their front page when they don't even have much of a story.

    Are we ready for another round of these highly suspicious rumors a couple weeks before Chris' formal sentencing court date? HECK NO, since just this past Tuesday, we were applauding his public apology.

    UGH, maybe we can take two swigs of something (lol) & it'll all go away in the morning. Somehow, this appears to be just like before with the media moguls, BAD NEWS, and nothings going to fix it bcuz Chris isn't going too address it! Sometimes a little denial makes it easier too swallow.

    Let's hope this is just bad timing on Chris' part & he did check out as soon as he knew she checked in & this wasn't a secret rendezvous. We all know the consequences of that since formal sentencing hasn't been penned off by Judge Schnegg yet. No judge likes to be defied esp with a clearly well meant stay away order.The plea agreement could be voided & Chris sentenced to some prison time.

    Let's pray nothing happened because no thrill is worth that consequence. Momma Joyce, as any mother, would be devastated by something that was so simple to avoid. :|

I think that IF Chrianna was still going on Teyana as a friend would be spreading rumors/stories about CB and other chicks so we would all believe he has moved on (and he really may have I could care less either way) the point isnt to broadcast that Chrianna is alive and well in a climate such as this. She has moved on and he has moved on would be the story that everybody is and should be selling.

    Well it looks like Chris was in NY first… I saw on twitter he's been in NYC since Thursday. Then we see pics of Rihanna leaving London Friday. I guess she was spotted in NY that night. So maybe the didn't know the other was there. I mean the order was he couldn't contact her. If there is no proof, no violation.

    Hello everyone! Im a 35 y/o female and I just wanted to say that I think CB's case was handled so poorly. First off let me say that this is clearly not a domestic violenece case, at best it should have been handled as a simple assault. And not even a simple assault because Rihanna never filed charges.They are not married, they were not living together, and they had no children. So in other words, you tell me that if you go out to a bar/club and you get into a fight with a person of the opposite sex then then you have a domestic violence charge?….NO. If only the media and Oprah knew the definition of what constitues domestic violence…….ppl should not even label him as a "woman beater" because it happened once. So you tell me if you have one drink that you're an alcoholic?….NO….I just thought this might shed some light to some of the doubters
