Skull Gang leader Juelz Santana recently weighed in on Chris Brown‘s no-show at last weekend’s BET Awards and said Jay-Z was largely responsible.

In addition to his reaction, Santana also took a few shots at Jigga via Twitter.

“i take nothin away from Jay-Z,” he wrote. “i dont wanna sound like a Hater but his swagger was on Zero yesterday. & i just heard thru the grape vine that Jay-Z said he would not Perform if Chris Brown was gonna perform.. SMH Sucker Move I woulda rather seen Chris Brown come out & do his tribute to [Michael Jackson]. It woulda been the 1st time he Performed since ? I know he woulda Killed it. ok Tweople. Yall do the Math. MJ just died the show as a Tribute to MJ. so not only does he say he down want chris to perform & do what would of been probably the best MJ tribute, but he coulda atleast did H-to tha IZOO cuz it has the MJ beat and Put MJ’s name in it.” (Juelz Santan’s Twitter)

    I do remember reading the real Julez Santanna twitter and he did take up for Chris Brown. It is good that the fans are using their voices to let BET and others know that they will not tolerate people whether celelbrites and non-celebrities and the media putting Chris Brown down and holding him back becuz of a mistake; however, everyone needs to do it in a classic way. I know some is going to be upset but do not judge and bring up the past about what Jay Z did. Let move on from that. I blame BET, Debra Lee and Stephen Hill, for the entire things. No matter what someone told Debra and Stephen, they could still let CB perform. They are the ones who in charge of the BET Awards.

    Keep on supporting Chris Brown and using your voice but at the same time I do not think Chris Brown wants his fans to bring somebody past back up and judge them.

    While I agree that Chris has a large fanbase, and I disagree with what Jay-Z did…I think you’d be wrong to believe Chris has more fans than Jay-Z. Jay-Z has sold millions of records. He’s no Lil Wayne with 1 million today and nothing tomorrow. He’s consistent. Chris will grow into the whole legend thing given enough time, but I think it’s safe to say given recent events and Jay-Z’s past success…he’s got more fans.

    maybe its true that chris wasnt scheduled to perform because that ad that was on BET in there website said that on twitter people were saying breezy was opening the show but they were just saying that that was the buzz/rumor on twitter not exactly that it was true and confirmed, and here well juelz is commenting on the rumor he heard, and how he feels about it, hes just reacting like we did when we heard the rumor
