The whole show was terrible. Ne-Yo basically saved the show. Other highlights were Ciara, Jamie Foxx, and the duet at the end with Ne-Yo & Jamie. Anything Ne-Yo was in was great. I’m an honest Beyonce fan, but I think she was lip singing Ave Maria. And no Chris. I’m hoping MTV has something planned, or that BET has a full show for nothing but MJ tributes. This crap was thrown together (I know they had short notice, but still) and doesn’t even begin to do MJ justice. The King of Pop is turning in his grave right now!
And Jamie’s joke about Chris was kinda messed up. For those who missed it, during the fake movie trailer when he was playing some pregnant ghetto woman, he expressed his conviction that the baby was Chris Brown’s because “it kept kicking him.” I admit it was kinda funny, but after the injustice done to Chris by not letting him perform, I’m not feeling too humorous. But no worries nigga!!! U gonna have your day again, and they will be begging you to come back!
I wouldn't go too far to say ban BET!!! MJ's death was so sudden and everything was put together at last minute BUT!!! Why I say what I said is that the family requested him. I highly doubt that he would pull from the performance when it's been evident he wants to do an tribute. I was mad cuz of the family not Chris. The only people who performed good was Ciara, Johnny Gill, Tyrese, and Treysong, The OJAYS, and Maxwell. The rest sucked, Jamie Fox performed to much through out the show I got tired of seeing him. He was hosting the Bet Awards. It looked liked he did the whole show by himself. People are hypocrites just plain hypocrites. When she found out CB wasn't performing she was beyond pissed off because not only does she not listen to that kind of stuff but she had to go work at 3:00 in the morning. I did watched the BET Awards. The BET Awards disappointed me and my family. What kind of tribute was that for Michael Jackson. If it was not for Michael Jackson, there will be no BET. BET disappointed me and used his name just to gain viewers and for ratings. Ne-Yo and Jaime Foxx had sung too much. By them not letting Chris Brown perform made me upset. In the Dec Ebony Issue, Michael Jackosn say it out of his own mouth that Chris Brown with Akon and etc is one of his favorite. BET needs to remember this was a a tribute for MJ and should allow Chris Brown to perform. Even though Usher and JT did not show up, Ciara should at least dance for MJ or P.Diddy and Ginuwine could have dance for MJ. I got tired of hearing Ne-Yo and Jaime Foxx singing too much. Keri Hilson had a nice performance but the vocal was not there. Keyehia Cole and Monica did a great job. Drake perfomrance was a big bust and I do not know whay Lil Wayne and his people was singing. Jay Z peformance was alright. I did like the tribute to the O Jays, and my favorite perfomrance of the night was Beyonce. I saw my girl Janet. She is strong. Overall, the show was disappointed and I told BET Awards about the disppointment on Twitter.

I checked some other sites reading comments about what others had to say about the performances (or lack there of) from last night and mostly all are saying that Chris should have performed. I hope this says to BET and others that a true Michael Jackson tribute can only be done the right way with Chris Brown! Not saying Chris is the only one, but he should definitely be included.
