Rihanna’s lawyer just said the D.A. told him his client will be subpoenaed at the next court hearing.

Donald Etra said Rihanna will be called to the stand to testify at Chris Brown’s preliminary hearing on June 22.

Etra says his client will cooperate and take the stand. It’s not at all unexpected that the alleged victim would be called to the stand in a prelim.

Also today, the judge rejected a motion made by Chris Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, asking for an order requiring the LAPD to ante up info regarding leaks in the case.

    This whole shit is sad that it had to come to all of this. Like I mean it kinda is ruining his life but at the same time it isnt. Fukced up how the judge aint really trying to do anything about the leaked picture. I just hope that all of this can be solved once and for all next month and that he wont do any time. And I really do want to know what really happened and why it really happened. Imma just pray for him that's all we can do as fans at this point.

    WOW! It's amazing how this disemboweled media, focus is on the fact that Rihanna presence is required at Chris' preliminary hearing. Well duhhh, she is the only other witness.

    So let's focus on whats up:
    – There will be a preliminary hearing so it's obvious there's no or no acceptable deal on the table right now.

    – The purpose of a preliminary hearing is to see if the evidence provided by the DA is sufficient enough to hold up in court. It, however, won't be all of the prosecutors evidence, just enough to prove that the case should continue. That evidence may include a witness or a few witnesses. In the end, the judge will either send it to trial or dismiss it.

    –Judge Patricia Schnegg denied a request to allow Mark Geragos access to confidential LAPD personnel records so that he can find out who leaked a photograph of a battered and bruised Rihanna to the media.

    In denying the motion, Schnegg said everyone agrees that the leak of the now infamous photo was not a good thing, but that "somebody went off the ranch and sold the photograph." She added: "but that does not impact the validity of the police investigation and the arrest of your client."

    Geragos said that he was not surprised by the judge's decision. He did try & that's what matters. However, as the infamous bloggers were reporting, there are no reports that indicate he requested dismissal of any charges filed against Chris.

    –June 22nd, Chris will be required to attend his preliminary hearing. This is by far the most important phase of the case so far, because it when the judge will decide if there is enough evidence to proceed with a trial.

    –This entire process is lengthy, but not as long as the 4-5 year sentence that Chris is facing. No one should be more in hurry for this to be over with, than Chris. So let's please pray for him & patience for ourselves. As Chris said in the live bowling session presented by Bow Wow;

    Really, guys, this is neither bad news nor is it unexpected!!!

    Trying to get the case dismissed on those grounds might have been a way to try to protect both of their reputations so that neither one of their stories could really be told.

    Now we will have to hear the truth so whatever happens we will learn if Chris is really worthy of all of our dedication. In my heart, I think that he is and I truly believe that Rihanna is evil, but if it's really Chris that's evil we need to know, Now the truth will really come out and that is a good thing. Maybe it will help clear things up for Chris. At least I hope so.

    Unless a plea deal is made, the judge will decide at the preliminary hearing to take the case to a trial. Hope the judge and DA have a heart. Everyone should keep on praying for both, CB and RiRi, and know something good is going to happen at the end. We need to keep on believing and not give up on prayer.

    This is good guys. The judge and the LAPD is going to have to release the information about the leaks sooner or later. Rihanna needs to be their if she has to testify she will be cross examined also. The photo doesn't determined that he is guilty. It has to be established by a jury people. Her bruises has to be established if she hit an object, a fist inflicted, bite and etc. people. Felony Charges are not going to stick. The evidence they have is not going to stick for Felony Charges they should of made a deal with Chris. This all stemmed from a photo to Felony Charges people it is so obvious. R Kelly let the jury established the video and they couldn't because they could not say without a doubt that it was R Kelly. A photo or a video cannot determine that a person is guilty until all evidence has been established. It is her word against his word on the statement: "Im going to kill you". A jury can believe it or not. Thats here say and it usually never stands in court.

If she is caught lieing at anytime that brings doubt on her story, Felony Charges are not going to stick. Just because something looks bad doesn't mean that it is bad people. A picture, photo or video tells a story but not always with our own naked eyes. A photo, an affidavit, experts, testimony, combined together tells something different people, thats how R Kelly got off. Everything combined determined if he is guilty or not guilty.

    If Rihanna was lying about some of the things (as far as unconfirmed reports went), hopefully it will come to light and discredit what she said in her police report and the allegations. He better be hoping that he'll get nothing or some sort of community service hours/probation out of this. And hopefully they'll separate because clearly Miss "I-need-to-post-naked-pictures-and-write-messages-in-the-mirror" need some time by herself or some counseling before trying to get with another guy again. He already showed that he was making progress with visiting certain charity groups and counseling with his faith; unlike this trick who just put makeup on and chilled, buying houses and whatnot.

    This situation is very unfortunate, and I hate that it happened. The media does not care about Chris or Rihanna, and they will destroy them both if they have to. The juicer the story the more better. That day will be a media circus and I hate it because they are both two private people, and now their business will probably become public. In the end we can all speculate all day and night about whether or not Rihanna and Chris are together, but the truth of the matter is that no one knows. I don’t believe sources close to the situation because why would they want to remain anonymous. I just hope in the end Rihanna and Chris find happiness and peace, whether that is to be together or let it go. People who think Rihanna will walk away from this unscathed are crazy. If Rihanna really wanted to take Chris down she could have when that photo first leaked. Regardless of what image her PR team wants to portray of her moving on, she cares about Chris and what happens to him. I think both her and Chris are trying to protect each other, and never wanted this thing to get to this point. I believe that they both regret what happens, and want to move on but the media will not let them. The media wants them to hate each other, and they are trying to pit them against each other. I feel that Rihanna and Chris need to do what they feel is best, whether that is to remain together or let it burn. If they succumb to the media and end their relationship or not try to see if it can work because that is what is expected, they will both have regrets and always wonder what could have been. I am not for one or the other, I am for them both because I genuinely believe they are kind hearted and good peple. I think in the end whether Rihanna and Chris are together or not, their bond of friendship will always be there and they will always care about each other. I just want them both to find peace and happiness. I am praying for the both of them, because I hope they can make it through this and come out the way they were before this happened.
