The gifts – a limited edition pair of Nike Air Force Ones, worth $1,500, and an extremely pricey Tag Heuer watch – were bought before Chris Brown’s alleged assault on Rihanna and sent by her staff without her bidding.

LA Laker star Andrew Bynum, who has been spotted on dates with the 21-year-old Barbadian singer, was reportedly not amused.

“Andrew hit the roof, he couldn’t believe Chris got gifts from Rihanna. She’s reassuring him Chris is in the past. Andrew is questioning if they got together too soon,” a source told UK’s Mirror.

Chris Brown turned 20-year-old on May 5. He is alleged to have assaulted Rihanna following a pre-Grammy party on February 8, and faces two felony charges – Assault By Means Likely to Create Great Bodily Injury and Making Criminal Threats.

His next court hearing is on May 28.

    This is a bunch of bull. X17 says she went on dates with Andrew Bynum, but does not have the photos to support it. Also why would Andrew Bynum deny it the way it did, because it makes him look good if he is datin g her so why deny it. Bynum rep said he was there with his brother and Rihanna was there with some people, but they were not together and didn't even sit at the same table. Come on now if they were together in a public place there would be photos. The same way they had Chris and Natalie coming out of the tattoo parlor. Finally are we suppose to believe she got these alleged gift for Chris 5 months or longer in advance? Also how can her people send gifts without her permission when she would have to give them the gifts to send?

    I think Chris and Rihanna are laying really low like under the radar for real. People need to understand they were friends for about three years before they started dating. We are all human and when you love someone you just can't turn that off even if you are a celeb. I'm just sorry that this is happening to Chris but like I've been saying for awhile the truth is going to come out. Keep your head up Chris.

    This story was put out there by Camp Breezy to make it appear that she is still on good terms or at worse, still can't get over Chris. It is BULL. Anyone with eyes can see that the girl has moved on without him.

    Chris cannot take that he has no power over her anymore. She had a big week last week and that is why his team put our those naked pictures!! They do not fool me at ALL. Rihanna was pulling away finally and getting her shine and Chris just cannot have her living her life and doing well while he is in the DUMPS.
