So Chris has two new tracks. “Let’s Smash” and “Apology”. OMG I love “Apology” ’cause it sounds like something he’s trying to explain to Riri. It really seems like a “Forgive Me” song to me

Enjoy.

Sources close to singer Rihanna claim the entertainer has re-established her relationship with R&B star Chris Brown and the two are quietly living together.

While Brown hasn’t “officially” moved in with Rihanna, they have spent “quite a few nights together,” said a source who is a longtime family friend of Rihanna’s family.

After the couple’s very high-profile fight just prior to this year’s Grammy Awards in February — when Rihanna was badly beaten, allegedly by Brown — the Barbados native quickly retreated to her family’s home in the Caribbean island nation to both heal and hide from the glare of public scrutiny.

Though Brown has been charged for the assault and faces possible prison time, there have been rumors that Brown’s constant entreaties to Rihanna — to forgive him and allow him back in her life — were making progress.

This, despite the fact Rihanna’s family and many close friends and professional associates had strongly urged her to move on and not pay him any heed.

My source says: “Unfortunately, Rihanna still wants him and has told all of us to ‘get over yourselves. … I’m with him, so deal with it.’ ”

Since Rihanna is well aware her re-connecting with Brown will cause a backlash of public opinion, she has told those same friends she will not be going public with the renewed relationship “for a while.”

Ciara opens up about the reason behind the decision of keeping “Turntables”, a duet song between her and Chris Brown, in her forthcoming third studio album “Fantasy Ride“. She says the collaborative track is one of her favorite songs and so she decides “to keep it the same” despite Chris’ altercation issue with Rihanna.

“The record sounds dope and I feel good about it. It’s one of my favorite tracks on the album,” Ciara tells Rap-Up. “I had to keep it the same. I’m sticking to it just being about the music in this case. What happened with them is personal and I don’t really know everything. All I know is I love the record.”

Chris Brown was rumored to be scrapped from Ciara’s collaborators list after Ciara told hosts Terrence and Rocsi during her visit on BET’s “106 & Park” on February 23 that she might re-record the track. “Now you may hear it a little bit differently than what you’ve heard it, but in a cool way,” she said at the time.

Beside Chris, Ciara also lines up Justin Timberlake, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, The-Dream and Missy Elliott as her duet partners in the new album. She will release the record in U.S. stores on May 3.

The second Saturday morning of 2010. That’s when that weekend’s first-day box-office grosses should be in, and when we should have answers to a couple of intriguing questions.

One, can Miley Cyrus open a movie without Hannah Montana?

And, two, can a Hollywood movie open with Chris Brown’s baggage?

Disney has pegged Cyrus’ The Last Song for a Jan. 8, 2010, opening, opposite the Brown-featuring Takers, the box-office tracking firm Exhibitor Relations noted on its site today.

The films aren’t expected to compete for the same business. They are expected, however, to make things interesting.

Written by novelist Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook), The Last Song is a father-daughter drama—or, considering Cyrus is the star, a daughter-father drama. The rest of the cast has yet to be announced. Shooting is scheduled for the summer.

“This is definitely a departure from Hannah Montana,” Exhibitor Relations’ Jeff Bock said in an email, “one that will allow the industry to gauge Miley’s fanbase, and allow her to evolve as an actress.”

Takers is an in-the-can ensemble cops-and-robbers movie (formerly titled Bone Deep) with Paul Walker, Matt Dillon, Hayden Christensen, T.I. and Brown. Following Brown’s arrest for his alleged assault of Rihanna, there was a report the film’s studio intended to “erase” the entertainer from its promo campaign. T.I., who’s also an executive producer, denied a Brown-out plan was in the works.

T.I., of course, has his own issues. The rapper has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison on a weapons charge. It’s unknown if he’ll be available, as it were, for the premiere.

Brown’s troubles came as the 19-year-old, once wholesome enough for the “Got Milk?” campaign, was picking up more film work. At 16, Cyrus already has two No. 1 movies on her resume: ast year’s Hannah Montana concert movie, and, yes, the still-running Hannah Montana comedy.

Brown and Cyrus were both supposed to perform at this past year’s Grammys. In the end, only Cyrus sang. Brown ended up being otherwise engaged.

Now, the teen idols’ summit will be staged at the box office.

Few people can say they identify with what Chris Brown might be feeling in the wake of his alleged altercation with Rihanna, but Mike Tyson is one of them.

The former heavyweight champ — whose life is the subject of the new documentary “Tyson,” set for release on Friday — has a history of legal trouble involving women. While he was married to actress Robin Givens in the late 1980s, their relationship was plagued with accusations of violence and spousal abuse against Tyson. And in the early ’90s, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington and served three years in prison.

When asked about Brown by MTV News this week, Tyson said, “It’s none of my business, but you know what I say about that? I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids.

“My personal opinion about that is, he’s just a baby,” he continued, with a tone of empathy toward the 19-year-old Brown. “He’s just a little baby that don’t know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, ‘I know how to handle my emotions’; we all think we do. But the fact [is], you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don’t know how to handle those feelings.”

While there are obviously many differences between his situation and Brown’s, Tyson said he believes a different mentality is prevalent these days. “Now you’re a fly guy and a cool guy, you have this pimp mentality. You have to be hard like that.”

Tyson was also extremely contrite about his history of violence toward women. “You can’t abuse them,” he said. “It’s really sick what you [can] do. She has a space in your heart and you believe you care about her more than anybody in the world.

“Do I think it’s right to beat up a woman? No — hell no,” he continued. “Have I hit a woman before? Hell yeah. Was I wrong? Hell yeah. I’m a product of that environment. Do I regret ever doing that? Hell yeah. Would I do it again? Never.”

According to NBA Lakers center Andrew Bynum there is nothing going on between him and Rihanna but there may be an awkward moment at one of tonight’s ASCAP Award parties where both Rihanna and Chris Brown are on the guest list !

Andre Merritt, a songwriter who has worked with both chart-topping artists is reportedly being honored at a special post show party and Rihanna (as of Tuesday) was confirmed to be attending along with ‘Stomp the Yard’ star Columbus Short. The only thing is, Brown, who has not been seen with Rihanna in public since early February, is also on the guest list but not “confirmed”.

If the “former” couple attends the event it will be the first time they would be under the same roof at a major event since their alleged altercation Feb. 8.

In related news, Rihanna is rumored to be eying a late fall 2009 tour and is considering a few of this year’s chart-topping R&B divas for the jaunt.
