Despite his affinity for combat, Chris Brown won’t be a Spartan anytime soon — as in the kind who attend Norfolk State University.

After Brown was spotted on the campus grounds in his home state of Virginia this weekend, TMZ has confirmed Brown was only there as a “support factor” for his cousin, who is a prospective student.

Brown, his mother and his cousin spent their Saturday taking the First View campus tour — a guided, private trek through the entire Norfolk campus, including the dorms, the offices and the classrooms.

We’re told some people recognized Brown on the tour, but sources close to the situation tell us, “People know whats going on with him and they were not paying him much attention at all.”

We’re also told Brown has “not applied,” has “not enrolled” and is “not interested” in attending NSU at this point.

Too bad … dude has a lot to learn.

    I know this sounds corny but it is a new show on MTV taking the stage they played forever and freeze. All of a sudden I started to cry I don’t look at chris as a guy I hook up with but a brother . I know he would never know me but I hate how people are doing him.     We have been saying that Rihanna is crazy, obsessive and controlling for ages.

    She was always a bad girl and being that she is from the same island as my dad I know that Bajan women do not play, they will fight a man like a man.

    I pray that Chris does not go to court and lie for Rihanna and take all the blame.

    Did anyone listen to his aunt talking on the radio. If you havent google Chris Brown's aunt clearing up rumours, it was about 5-6 weeks ago but as his aunt said there is two sides to every story and Chris would never attack someone for nothing.

    No one has come out and said 1 bad thing about Chris, yet the media continue to call him a monster and serial abuser.
    And Rihanna has taken this sympathy tour too far. She has ruined this talented guys career, he has worked hard for 5-6 years to build up his superstar status and this no talent spoilt b**** takes it all away from him.

    I'm mad as hell and I want Chris to tell the truth in court, this was a fight which Rihanna started and could not win. Chris is not an abuser, he just should have thought twice and got out of the car and called her people to come and get her.

    He is only 19 and he does not need to be settled down with one girl.

    You are so right about Chris and how sweet he is. I pray every night that the truth comes out and that he does not try to be the bigger man by taking the blame. But, honestly, now that people are really paying attention to her I think that deep down everybody knows how crazy she is, whether they want to admit it or not. A lot of people just love bashing him, regardless of how much comes out about her. Still, to this day I have not heard one person say anything bad about Chris aside from this one incident and you know that when people are under public scrutiny that's when the skeletons come out.

    I honestly think that TMZ is kind of trying to turn the table on her a little bit because now it's becoming obvious that she had a hug part in this whole mess. Its only going to make everybody look dumb in the end, because you only heard one side of the story. When you were in high school : A fight broke out between two individuals. The person who started the fight may win or may lose the fight. The person who started the fight might look battered all up.The principle listens to both sides of the story.The outcome is that both got a couple of days home. Why? because they both were fighting each other.Did it matter that one was a girl and the other was a boy ? Did it matter if it was two girls or two boys fighting each other? The answer is No.Both parties received punishment or consequences based on what they did to each other.They both need to share the consequences of their actions. They both should be charged with assulting each other. If not than Chris should not be charged.

    you are right. Most of the comments of TMZ and Perez Hilton (her biggest fan) are against Rihanna now. People are asking why she is partying everynight and they are saying she is going crazy, she looks a mess and she was always ghetto and is now showing her true colours, im glad they are seeing what i've been seeing for months.

    Chris could have done far better, even my aunts said so. They are grown women and cannot stand Rihanna.

    If you notice Hollyscoop had already turned weeks ago and they were the first to report that Rihanna admitted that she attacked Chris before in the past and that she did not call 911 because she was scared of chris and she was not trying to run away from him that night. The witness called the police.

    I think they had already broken up before the clive davis party and were being forced to look like a couple for publicity reasons, he was going to see another girl, she started this fight and he ended it.

    BUT if people take a good look at the photo then read her statement it doesnt match. She only has a busted lip and two bumps on her head, thats it but TMZ keep saying he nearly killed her. That's a lie.
    I think once the police got there she was so mad that he had left the scene and he was going to see another woman that she thought she could get back at him by saying he nearly killed her.

    I dont understand how she can do all this when they were friends for like 3 years before they dated. Well now she has him exactly where she wants him, she is in control of his life and career. Depending on what she tells the media and public that will determine if Chris has a music career ever again.

    Her partying everynight, getting gun tattoos and being romantically connected to Wilma Valderama does not help her image, he is helping his image by lying low in VA.

    People are now calling her all kind of names on TMZ, her fans and his fans have turned against her NOT HIM.

We cannot come to the conclusion once they hit you they will hit you again. That person cannot change.     Candy, I am so glad that you see what I see in that picture. There is just no way that he punched her over and over again. There is nothing in that picture that says that. I don't even understand how people could ever get the impression that he beat her really bad by looking at that picture. I mean, when you first look at it and see those bruises on her forehead then you think like-OH MY GOD-HE DID IT!!!! But then, if you really pay attention, there's no way that a human could do that-she had to hit her head. The affadavit said that he pushed her into the window but I don't believe that. If you take those bruises off of her forehead you really only have a busted lip and a couple scratches. I mean, that's bad but it's nowhere near attempted murder, especially when she hit first. I'm so sick of these stupid people trying to make her look innocent, but it's O.K. because everyday she does something to prove them wrong.

    This was a fight which Rihanna started and could not win. This is not the first time Rihanna has attacked Chris and she told the police that, BUT TMZ twisted the story and said Chris is a serial abuser.

    I've just got a bad feeling that Chris is going to protect Rihanna's reputation by taking all the blame. I was just listening to Howard Stern talking to Thea Vidale on YouTube, Howard is obsessed with this Chris Brown case. He wants black celebrities and black people in the community to talk up and against Chris.

    How can people talk when we have not got both sides of the story? Chris has a right to tell everyone his side of the story and its a dam shame that he's been legally and politcally gagged for 7 weeks because the media and some of the public (most of them who didnt even know who he was 8 weeks ago) have dragged his name through the mud and destroyed every thing he's worked so hard for.

      Trust me-I know how you feel. I feel the exact same way. But I try to defend him in every way that I can because I know in my heart that he is not a woman beater and if people would just pay attention to the signs they would too. The point is that they really don't want to know the truth.

      On every post I try to ask the following questions:

      1. How could she pretend to call her assistant if he was punching her?
      2. What violent man will let you pick up the phone, they wlll knock it out of your hand!!!
      3. Why say anthing about the police if you're in the car with a violent man because you know he'll really kill you then and why say have them waiting when you get home because what man will take you home.(That was a way to keep him from taking her home in my opinion)
      4. And finally, why did she sit on his keys?

        I have asked myself that question and I have asked her fans in forums and on TMZ. All they can say is Chris nearly killed her and it doesn't matter what she did to him.
        So it's ok for a woman to beat up a man. What kind of society do we live in and what kind of message are we sending out to little girls.

        If people (including RIhanna's fans) put their own feelings, emotions and abuse stories aside for a moment and looked at her police statement they would see that it is impossible for Chris to do all those things and drive.

        Also they have to look at Chris who has never been abusive before and is a sweetheart, thats why people are still suporting him because Chris is no serial abuser or monster.

        And they need to look at the photo and see that the photo was either taken in a bad light or tampered with because it is grainy. There is only two contusions on her forehead from hitting the window or dashboard and there is a busted lip with dry blood and make up on her lips. That it is.

        She has not been beaten to a bloody pulp as Perez Hilton and TMZ keep saying everyday.
        Rihanna has fair skin and her marks had magically disappeared two weeks later when she showed up in Mexico by the pool with no make up on.

        Her fans need to ask themselves why was Rihanna and her people all at Diddy's mansion with Chris and all his people? Why was her best friend and Chris's bestfriend playing in the pool like nothing happened. Why was her bestfriend grinning and talking to Chris in one of the photos?
        I'm not hanging out with him if he did that to my friend. It is all B.S.

        I have seen domestic violence victims since I grew up in a very abusive home and a woman who has gone through what Rihanna claims to have gone through does not go out clubbing for days.

        She is the next Britney, look at the paps with all this "We love you Rihanna" nonsense, they only care about the money they make off selling her photos to trashy websites and magazines.

        She needs to explain to the judge why she did not get out of the car when he asked her to. If she was
        scared she would have got out and ran or phoned her assistant to come pick her up.

They are making statements like you dont have to be their or in the car to know what happen.They can see what happen by the pictures. Theres a old saying :Everything that you see with yours eyes is not always what you see. Who would think that the same video that was suppose to convict R Kelly would be the same video that would help him be found not guilty by a jury of his peers.The affidavit and the pictures dont add up to the same story.     EXACTLY! The affidavit (Rihanna's story) was initially rejected back too the LAPD for more evidence. So mysteriously, a photo of the victim was leaked. Hmmm coincidence, I think NOT!

    This photo was the "shooting gun" that started the former reputable media moguls e.g. Oprah, Tyra, Ellen, GMA, TTS, etc, glammoring about domestic violence & how Rihanna should'nt go back to her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown. Their philosophy is biased against the basic principals of equality. The constitutional rights they have always stood up for, went out the window with "the photo" and hearsay innuendos of a one sided story for which there were clearly two people present.

    What about him, can't he be a victim also? Can it be possible that this was a immature fight between two people where there are no victims? Or can it be that whomever has more bruises, isn't automatically a victim, but cried out of humiliation and pain of losing the fight?

    This undue international media attention, coupled with the public outcry for vindication & along with upcoming public official elections triggered the felony charges against Chris. The morning of his arraignment, the D.A. filed official charges with the VERY SAME EVIDENCE THEY ALREADY HAD!

    HUH, WTF! Hopefully, Chris having apparent little contact with Rihanna and going home too VA for some chill time, will cool the media & public interest in this case.

    Let's keep praying for his vindication & acquittal of all charges…

    I just can't understand why all of these people who are supposed to be so intelligent can't see what's so obvious. Tima1 you made a great point. The prosectution does not have any more evidence than they had at first, the DA was just pressured to press charges because of the public outcry. I just can't get over that picture. There was no blood anywhere except those little spots around her mouth, and that could have been dried up makeup. If the evidence was so overwhelming they would have charged him on February 8th. And they acted like there was so much blood in the car when I only saw a smear. All of this just pisses me off. I really think that her camp released that picture.

      That was the most interesting dialogue I ever read concerning this case. ITA with the theories. . I never believed they were still together once she left Europe because of the mess she was doing over there. But when the pics showed up from the party on the net I was ready to say Okay they are still a couple. However, I remained suspicious of those Pre G. Party pics, they always gave me pause. He just didn't look into her or happy, as he usually did.

      I think when he came home he wanted to remain friends since that had to pull the PR gig but after it was over go their separate ways. He had all his family (mother, father, aunts and uncles, cousins) in town that night. I doubt he wanted drama. I don’t believe she thought he was seriously leaving her …jealousy and fear of losing him for good led to the incident. It's just that simple in my mind.

        you are right. Chris looked uncomfortable with Rihanna drapped around his neck. at clive davis party. He had such a false smile on his face and he was pulling away from her. Did you see when he got up to wave, he still had the false smile on his face and he looked like he wanted to leave the party.

        I think his PR team wanted them to appear as a couple because they have become a power couple and the clive davis party and grammy awards are very important in the music calender.
        The thing is why didnt her people tell him to drive her round the corner after the party and then they would pick her up and take her home.

        And where were their security teams, Chris always had a bodyguard walking or driving behind him?

    See a lot of Rihanna's fans love Chris, but Chris's fans never really liked Rihanna. And nothing has changed, Rihanna's fans still like Chris.

    The real fans are the ones on her fan websites, not the ones on TMZ, perez hilton etc….. People go to those sites to read salacious malicious gossip about Celebrities. I think Harvey (TMZ) was a failed rock star or actor because why would you go from being a lawyer to setting up a nasty website like that.
    And we all know Perez Hilton couldnt make it in hollywood and thats why he's doing what he's doing with that cheap nasty website.
