R+B star CHRIS BROWN is set to enter the reality tv industry by launching his own dance competition series.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker frequently shows off his fancy footwork in his music videos and live performances, and now he is to give wannabe dancers a chance to strut their stuff on his forthcoming show.
The currently untitled project, which will focus on hip-hop and street dance culture, will see contestants go up against one another in a variety of dance-offs, with Brown choosing the winner of each round.
Speaking of the program, Brown says, “Dancing is more than just a way of moving, it’s a different expression of music. That’s what I want to focus on with this show.”
Reality TV guru Mark Burnett and his business partner J.D. Roth will produce the program, which is due to be pitched to TV networks next week, reports Variety.com.
Sounds like a hot show. I always wished Chris would pop up on shows like America’s Best Dance Crew, now it looks like he will have his own reality series. Just adding to the long list of a million other dance shows on tv, but with Chris it is sure to be a hit.

Also Chris & The Cheetah Girls will star on “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody,” finally premiering SATURDAY, AUGUST 9 (8:30 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel
In the episode, “Doin’ Time in Suite 2330,” Zack and Cody are grounded and forbidden to leave their suite, so Maddie steps in for Cody as producer of London’s internet show, “Yay Me.” In an attempt to win the Golden Netty Award, Cody sneaks out and gets “The Cheetah Girls” as guest stars for London’s show, only to find out that Maddie has already booked recording artist Chris Brown as a guest star.

Doublemint and Big Red songs get an urban contemporary update
Ne-Yo and Chris Brown have been tapped by Wrigley’s to remix the iconic jingles of two of its most popular brands of gum.
Brown will update the Doublemint jingle, while Ne-Yo will put his own take on the Big Red song. Country singer Julianne Hough has also been recruited and will take on Juicy Fruit, reports Billboard.com.
Wrigley’s will host a concert in New York on July 29 to unveil the new jingles. Radio station Hot 97 is expected to give away tickets for the show as part of the promotion.
Chris Brown dropped a hint about his Wrigley’s deal earlier this year in his video “Forever” from his re-release, “Exclusive (The Forever Edition).” In the beginning of the video he is chewing a piece of gum then sings the line “double your pleasure, double your fun,” the long time tag line for Doublemint.
