This morning on the Today Show they said Chris was supposed to be there for an interview, but his mama said no because his voice hurt and he needed to rest. Mama said no, and mom knows best LOL. So Chris was not on tv this morning and instead they had Ne-Yo.

Hopefully he was able to make it to the Wrigley’s press conference and concert today. When we receive more news we will let you know.

Get better Chris!

The free Wrigley’s Concert featuring Chris Brown, Ne-yo & Julianne Hough singing new remixed versions of Wrigley’s jingles is on Tuesday, July 29th. I was informed of more details about the event for all those who would like to attend. The concert will be located at the Nokia Theater in Times Square at 1515 Broadway. In addition to catching one of the 3 buses to attend the concert, you can also win tickets today and tomorrow on Hot 97, Z100, and Power 105.

The only way to get inside the concert is to get a spot on one of the buses or win a ticket on the radio.

So listen up, or get in line!

Very Special Thanks again to Jessica for all the information!!!

From MTV.com:

After thousands of votes on VMA.MTV.com (along with ballots from select industry insiders), two diverse battles are set. A pair of legendary pop icons will square off against two relative newcomers and one wily underdog in the fight for Best Female Video. Pop queen Britney Spears takes another step on the comeback trail as her “Piece of Me” grabs a nomination, while Mariah Carey will try to end her VMA dry spell with “Touch My Body.” “American Idol” champ Jordin Sparks scores a nomination for her Chris Brown collaboration “No Air,” and Rihanna is in the running as well with “Take a Bow.” Quirky long shot Katy Perry rounds out the Best Female race with her cheeky summer anthem “I Kissed a Girl.”

Meanwhile, hip-hop’s hot streak continues in the Best Male Video category as two of the hottest MCs in the game face off against some of R&B’s leading men. Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop” exploded this year, so it’s no surprise that he’s in the running, along with T.I., whose “No Matter What” chronicles his struggles over the past year. Chris Brown and Usher made the list with “With You” and “Love in This Club” respectively, and Flo Rida is in the mix with “Low.”

Now need your help determining which videos get nominated for the BEST POP VIDEO! Select the one you love best and cast your vote. You’ve got until Wednesday (July 30) to make your selection for both Best Hip Hop and Best Pop Video, and then on Friday (August 1) we’ll let you know which videos made the final cut.

VOTE FOR CHRIS HERE!

Choose between “Kiss Kiss,” “With You,” and “Forever.”

Chris Brown & Rihanna are on the list of many other big artists to be included on the upcoming Princess DisneyMania compilation CD, all recording classic Disney Princess songs. It is the first volume in the Princess DisneyMania series and will be released on September 30, 2008.

Here is a look at the track listing:

  1. Demi Lovato - “Just Around The Riverbend” (Pocahontas)
  2. Kaycee Stroh - “Beauty & The Beast” (Beauty and The Beast)
  3. Beyoncé - “Part Of Your World” (The Little Mermaid)
  4. The Pussycat Dolls - “I Won’t Say (I’m In Love)” (Hercules)
  5. Katharine McPhee - “She’s In Love” (The Little Mermaid)
  6. Taylor Swift - “Home” (Beauty and The Beast)
  7. Hilary Duff - “My Strongest Suit” (Aida)
  8. The Cheetah Girls - “Kiss The Girl” (The Little Mermaid)
  9. Meaghan Jette Martin - “Someday My Prince Will Come” (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
  10. Aly & AJ - “A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes” (Cinderella)
  11. Ashley Tisdale - “With A Smile & A Song” (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
  12. Alicia Keys - “Reflection” (Mulan)
  13. Anna María Perez de Tagle – “True Love’s Kiss” (Enchanted)
  14. Chris Brown & Rihanna - “A Whole New World” (Aladdin)
  15. Carrie Underwood - “So This Is Love” (Cinderella)

Interesting. From the looks of the track list, this will probably be a mega-selling album (the kids will love it). I just watched A Little Mermaid the other day actually (that and Aladdin are 2 of my favorite Disney movies lol). I just hope they all do the songs justice.

Just for reminders and to take you back down memory lane, check out this throwback:
