Ford Motor Company’s partnership with Jive Recording Pop Phenom Chris Brown has shifted into drive as the Ford sponsored Up Close & Personal Holiday Exclusive Tour Powered by SYNC kicks off in Cincinnati, Ohio today. The partnership is a chance for Ford to take its latest technology on the road and ultimately integrate some of the key features of the technology into the tour in a way that has never been done. Radio and Television advertisements featuring Chris Brown that highlight SYNC will also be a part of the alliance, which represents the first time that Ford is targeting such a young urban audience with a deeply integrated experience.”The idea of bringing Chris Brown and Ford’s SYNC Technology together was a no-brainer for us,” said Crystal Greene, Sponsorships & Alliances Marketing Manager for Ford. “We think that SYNC is the hottest in car technology and Chris Brown is one of the hottest on the music scene, so it was an easy blend of the two. The integration of SYNC into this tour is about reaching out to this audience in a way that is natural to them. His fans love technology; they love Chris Brown, so why not capture them in a manner that is appealing to them.”
