In the past couple of days there have been a lot of updates about “Rip the Runway,” but I am here to give you the behind the scenes info on the show.Let me start by saying that it was very cold that day, so all the fans that came and stood outside for hours to get in are very dedicated! They started letting people in at around 5 p.m., and since I was with the press, I had to go upstairs with the photographer to the red carpet to get footage. I was very excited because I knew that Chris would be walking down it at any given moment. They were announcing the people as they came in, and all the photographers and reporters were set up waiting for the celebrities. As the talent came in, they would announce their names, and send them around to the press to do interviews. I stood next to the BET News lady to make sure that I would get the opportunity to talk to Chris.
I am sure that Bianca will cherish this moment forevermore, and I’m more than certain that she will reveal all of the juicy details that she gave me about last night to you!As pictured above, she probably was smiling the whole night. It’s amazing what one fansite can do, huh? We’ve gone from a measly 200 visitors a day to a good 10,000+ daily network average and have the ability to cover major events that even local newspapers cannot gain access too. I just want to use this picture, photographed by the amazingly great photographer “Q”, as the symbol of our new beginning and the rebirth of what a fansite ought to be.At this time we are currently only 700 visits away from 3,000,000 documented unique visitors! This is a major accomplishment for any site, let alone one that has only been online for a year and a half!This whole journey thus far has been great, and I’ve learned so much about people on the way, and I just want to thank everyone that has aided us in the past, currently, and will in the future. Your love and support is truly appreciated and don’t you ever forget it.
