It’s long, but it’s a good one!Chris Brown: On the Set of His New Film!Feb 19, 2007 – Lynn Barker17-year-old musical artist/actor Chris Brown hit charts with the popular “Run It” from his debut album in 2005. Then, the cute young artist hit the road for the Up Close and Personal Tour last summer and is now working on his sophomore CD tentatively titled “Exclusive”. But, stop with music? No way. After some TV guest shots, the young talent hit the big screen in Stomp the Yard co-starring with Ne-Yo, Meagan Good and Columbus Short. Currently, Chris is shooting the feature film This Christmas, a family story due out this next holiday season. We were invited to check out the set near L.A. and talk with Chris. The interior set for the home of the Whitfield family is very impressive; a beautiful living and dining room filled with great, colorful African art influences. We caught up with the young star between scenes and grabbed some exclusive time outside his trailer on a sunny California day.
Now, I have not been reporting on this because there is speculation that Chris may not be appearing on the actual show. However, despite the uncertainty I’ll go ahead and post this and will reassure everyone that I will indeed be ripping it. Click here to read more about the show. The prize is a copy of the NBA Street Series Vol. 4 DVD, hosted by Chris Brown. The contest rules and regulations have not been drawn up yet, but I thought I’d fill you in on a little of the behind the scenes action.Just to let you know that there will be two winners of this contest. They will receive a copy of the DVD, courtesy of Warner Bros. and Chris Brown Web. I hate to inform all of the international fans, but this one is still only open for U.S. residents. International contests will be held later on.More details will be made available on Tuesday.
Ignore the rumors of “Let Me Take You Down”. It is indeed a track that has been recorded, but there is a chance that it won’t make the album, which is tentatively titled “Exclusive”.There is no possible way a single can be chosen without recording being more than 75% complete. Chris is still working on his films and recording throughout the year, so all of the single rumors should be disregarded.Of course, if there is truly a single we will be the first to let you know. You know that we stay on it.
New contest is on it’s way. Details to follow in a few days.Note: This is not the exclusive contest I was talking about, that will be held towards the middle of the year. This is another one being brought to you by Warner Bros. and CBWEB.Until then, here’s a sneak peek: Videos by VMIX Member:Warner Bros.
