{nl} I’ve decided to address some issues that have been raised by some visitors. Let me spell some stuff out.1.) I am not attacking Chris Brown personally. I am not saying he does not care for his fans. I still have faith in him, and believe that he does truly care for those that idolize him and look up to him. As a fan, do not lose your passion for Chris Brown.2.) I choose to do this site based upon the fact that I know a lot of people visit and find it an essential source for all things Chris Brown.3.) I have put my personal life aside for the visitors and to keep everyone updated, because I know how much the site is enjoyed and appreciated by quite a few people. I do not find it necessary to run the site. I enjoy it, yes, but if things continue on this way it will indeed close.4.) I do not want to close the site. I never said it is closed either. I said, that I will consider closing it if changes do not come.5.) The recognition that I am requesting, not demanding, is that we establish a connection between Chris Brown and the fans — as simple as that. I do not want money, any more popularity, or my name in lights. I want a strong connection between Chris and his fans. We are all aware of the fact that he has a MySpace, but it is FLOODED by comments for people to check out their music or the frequent “I love you!” messages. He also is supposed to be an active part of his fanclub, which he is not! Those of us that have signed up and paid that ridiculous fee have received absolutely nothing. Chris Brown Web provides more content and information than the fan club does, and that is supposed to be the means of contacting and feeling more connected to Chris, personally? I think not.6.) I will move on. Just because this site closes does not mean that I won’t establish another fansite for an artist that is up and coming and hopefully would be more appreciate of a fan like myself.7.) I refuse to let anyone else run the site. No one will be able to provide what I do. No one will be able to invest their time, money, and effort like I have. Realize this, it takes hours to add videos, pictures, news, and layouts to the site. It is not easy. What you log on and see for maybe 2 minutes, takes at least an hour to create.8.) A fansite is not owned by management, the record label, or anyone directly associated with them. A fansite is a site created by a fan or a group of fans to provide information to other fans. It’s strictly a fan-to-fan basis as far as interaction goes. A true fansite would not charge users to log in. Not cool.If you have any more questions feel free to e-mail me. On another note, below is what some fans and visitors have had to say. The following do not necessarily reflect my views, but they are worth being noted because of what they have to say. By the way, I appreciate all of the support as well as the negativity surrounding this ordeal. Just know that if a change does not come a major change to ensure that one will happen will occur. All of the comments have been left unedited so you can read them in their raw formatting. The few I have selected are no more valid than any others that were left, but I felt these build up our case in a more feasible way. Here are the comments:”How are they supposed to show recognition? Did they promise you insider stuff or giveaways or Chris Brown exclusives? I don’t think that anyone really truly knows the hardship of owning a fansite as popular as this one. I can only imagine how many friends grades this site has utterly destroyed. If I were you, I would have shut down this site many months ago. I simply can not deal with being stepped on or ignored. I really have respect for you because of what your going through not only for the fans, but for Chris Brown himself. That is a true fansite. Not some bubblegum site that just wants attention. A fansite that actually cares about the celebrity they are featuring, and tries their hardest to promote them and better their life by basically destroying their own. I think that Chris Brown owes you an apology, his management owes you an apology (to say the least), and some of those disrespectful, inappreciative fans owe you an apology. Until then, you should care for the site as much as they care for you.” – Domenic”I understand you Dominque. You’ve spent alot of your time into this website and trust, its a great website. What people don’t understand is the time and dedication it takes to build and manage a fansite. You have the latest pictures, interviews, audios and even videos. Then to have someone act as if they don’t give a fuck, yes, that hurts. If i was you, i would feel the same way. I’ve read alot of these comments and most of them fail to realize the whole point. Its been going on almost 2 year and still no play? Sometimes you have to throw in the towel. I can’t believe an artist’s camp would act that way towards a dedicated fan site that gives more attention to the artist than the his own actual website. Thats just some bullshit. This guy I know had a very nice Bobby V fansite and DTP was down with him. Bobby V use to shout him out all the time and even dropped by his site and left voice comments. It can be done, you aren’t bigger than your fans. I enjoy your site alot but you’re just 17 and i feel you need to be out enjoying your youth, especially since ppl don’t appreciate what you’ve done for them. Just say fuck em. They’ll see in the future. Whatever you do decide to do, I stand behind that. But let it be your choice. Don’t let these other girls tell you what to do ,because when it comes down to it, its your time and money being spent, not theirs…” – A”I hope you can come to an agreement about the site because I love it, as I’m sure many other fans do. This is like the only site that stays connected to Chris Brown’s career enough for the fans. Such as posting info, video (O.C.), etc. I know I wouldn’t know a lot of the things I do know without CB/Web. Everyone has to admit that Chris Brown’s “other” site gives us none of the same privileges that CB/Web does.” – Stephanie T.”She’s tellin the truth. Without this website, no one would really know this much about Chris. This site is sooooo great. I think people should recognize how much they as the founders put into the website as much as us as the fans put into it too. If we didn’t have this site, Chris probably wouldn’t be as popular as he is now. So someone needs to standup for this website cuz without this, Chris would be nothin. Without this site, I would be wondering where Chris was or what he was doing, but thanks to cbweb, i don’t have to. All i;m sayin is that these people put alot into this website and should be recognized on how much work and effort they put into this. But i really preciate what ya’ll do for us. Even if ya’ll do close this site, I will still remeber how much ya’ll care for Chris and his fans. Love Ya.” – CB’s # 1 Girl
