DJ finds{nl}trouble when he starts flirting with April, girlfriend to Grant, a{nl}popular upper-class member of a dominant fraternity, Mu Gamma Xi.{nl}DJ’s showoff attitude and increasingly pro skills on the dancefloor{nl}catch the attention of a Theta Nu fraternity member whowants to benefit{nl}from DJ’s sharp skills and ghetto styling by using him in his{nl}fraternity’s routines. Theta Nu’s leader initially disagrees with the{nl}new edgy style DJ is trying to do, but decides to use DJsince the group{nl}has lost to rivals in competitions for seven years.{nl}The film’s plot starts to pop off when Grant finds he is having an{nl}affair with April. DJ watched over every sultry movement she made from{nl}jogging and listening to her iPod, to stalking her to the point that he{nl}requested her daily for history tutoring.{nl}{nl}His lovable moves lead him to suspension from the institution for lying on his entry application.{nl}This is a must-see film that has you stuck to your chair, but has you{nl}back on your feet with energetic moves. Stomp The Yard is an enjoyable{nl}film full of humor, sadness and enjoyment that executes its predictable{nl}moves with plenty of visual panache, only to get tripped up by some{nl}un-hip twists in the third act.{nl}{nl}{nl}
